Russell Park is a highly visited day use park. The swim beach area features a washed pebble beach with a protective floating pipe delineator. No lifeguards are on duty. No pets are allowed in the swim beach area. No BBQ pits allowed on the swim beach. There are 10 shelters available on a first-come, first-served basis. The park is open April 1 - September 30 from 6:00 am to sunset. For fee information, look here.

Shoreline swimming, while not prohibited, is discouraged due to unknown water depths and underwater hazards. Please watch your children at all times. Wear a life jacket!
